  • Bo jeffares - pastor

    Bo is originally from Meridian, MS, and came to Hope after graduating Mississippi State University in 2004. He later earned a masters in Global Leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary. Bo currently lives in Tupelo, MS with his wife, Kimberly and two daughters. He enjoys playing, writing and listening to music, reading, bowhunting, golfing and being with friends.

  • Robert Staggers - director of operations

    Robert is from West Point, MS. He studied General Business at Mississippi State University and Commercial Music at MUW.  Robert worked as Chief Recording Engineer at Soundtracks Studios for eight years, is currently the Director of Operations at Hope and also serves as Worship Pastor.  He lives in Columbus with his wife, Celsie, and daughter, Natalie, and enjoys songwriting and recording and is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

  • kimberly jeffares - hope kids director

    Kimberly is from Tupelo, MS and attended Mississippi State University where she met her husband, Bo. They now have two girls and she works as an Inside Support

    Sales Engineer for Ewing Kessler, Inc.  Kimberly has served as Hope Kids Director since 2009. She enjoys party planning along with creating and crafting projects for her home.

  • jaimie mercer - student ministries director

    Jaimie served as a Children's Pastor in Norman, OK for seven years. She currently is the Student Ministries Director at Hope.  Jaimie has a bachelors in Sociology from Louisiana Tech and a masters in Pastoral Counseling.  She lives in Columbus with her husband, Andrew, and three children. Jaimie is passionate about foster care, adoption, and mental health support, and enjoys reading, painting and being crafty.

  • ryan munson - board member

    Ryan is a local artist and entrepreneur who owns JUVA Juice in Columbus and Munson and Brothers Trading Post. He is the husband of Katherine Munson and father of children Molly, Luke, and Hannah.

  • a. b. puckett - board member

    A. B. grew up in Columbus.  After graduating from Furman University, he worked as a financial advisor for Edward Jones, and later moved to Kenya to help found Global Connections, a non-profit that serves the widowed, orphaned, poor and oppressed.  

    A. B. currently works in private equity and serves on the boards of Hope Church, BlueSky Global Ministries, Global Connections and Cadence bank advisory board.

  • landon voller - board member

    Landon grew up in Columbus and currently lives in Starkville. He attended Mississippi College and Mississippi State University and works as an architect for Belinda Stewart Architects, specializing in Historic Preservation work. Landon enjoys being outside, reading, and helping Mizzou and Iowa fans turn their lives around. Go Big Red!

  • john trumm - board member

    John is originally from Potosi, Wisconsin.  He currently works as a Civil Engineer for the U.S. Air Force with seven years active duty and over thirteen years Civil Service. John has two children and lives in Columbus with his wife, Laura.  He enjoys traveling adventures and exploring and experiencing the scenery, history, and food that new places have to offer.

  • andrew mercer - board member

    Originally from Spearman, TX, Andrew moved to Columbus in 2009 after receiving a doctorate in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma. He's currently a professor in the Dept. of Geosciences at Mississippi State University. In addition to the Hope board, he serves as a teacher in Hope Kids Ministry.  Andrew, his wife, Jaimie, and three children live in Columbus.  He's a fan of OU football and enjoys storm chasing.
